"Understanding and Helping My Child With Homework"

Last night, the Fox Hill PTO hosted a workshop for parents on "Understanding and Helping My Child With Homework." Approximately 15 parents attended, and from comments I heard, parents enjoyed and appreciated the workshop.

Mrs. Jaffe, Mrs. Young, Mrs. Lisano, Ms. Greene, and I presented the workshop to help you, parents, in supporting your child with homework.

Homework is an important part of school life, and we want to support parents and children in every way we can.

Below is the slide show presentation shared at the workshop. Enjoy!

Bridges Together - Session 1

This morning, Grade 4 students participated in our kick-off session for this year's Bridges Together program. Each 4th grade classroom has its own senior volunteers for this very worthwhile program. Both kids and seniors learned much about each other during Lesson 1: "Getting to Know You." It's amazing how 10 year-olds and seniors have so much in common! Enjoy some photos from today's kick-off session.
